Introduction
This documentation defines the SRE framework for Ensono. It provides the principles, practices and operational requirements that guide how SRE services are designed, transitioned, operated and improved.
The framework covers the full lifecycle of an SRE managed service, including operational practices within SRE as well as the wider processes and behaviours required across Ensono Digital to enable successful service delivery.
SRE operates as part of a wider delivery lifecycle. The ability of SRE teams to provide reliable managed services depends on decisions and activities that happen before a platform reaches SRE ownership. Commercial engagement, solution design, delivery practices, production readiness and client collaboration all directly influence the long-term success of an SRE service.
For this reason, this framework extends beyond SRE operational practices alone. It defines expectations and guidance for the wider organisation in areas where collaboration, consistency and early engagement are required to support reliable service operation.
The complete framework documentation is available through the Documentation section. To make the content easier to navigate, dedicated entry points are provided for teams that interact with SRE and require guidance specific to their responsibilities.
